Kayla was born in Moshavva, Israel to Leya Brennan and Mohammad David on August 25th. Kayla was born out of wedlock and she was raised by both parents until she was ten. Her father was part of Mossad and her mother was just a missionary there. Kayla learned the ways of both the Jewish society and Christian society. She still to this day tries to follow both religions. Mohammed taught his daughter how to fend for herself.
When Kayla was ten, Leya, was called back to the United States. Mohammad deiced to stay behind and continue his work with Mossad. Kayla often wondered how her mother got involved with a person who was basically a terrorist. But she never asked as she didn't really want to know. She figured love took its course on her mom. She thought she had lost contact with her father when they moved back to the states. When Kayla was about eleven she moved here to Anacortes. She has lived here ever since and loves it.
Kayla's father contacted her when she was about 15 trying to get her to come back and be part of Mossad. Saying it would be what her mother would want, and that it was best for her. Knowing her mother as the strict Christian she was, Kayla knew that Leya would never allow it. And knowing the strangers her and her father had became she told him she didn't want and she knew what was best for her. He had said okay and never contacted her again.
Kayla was 19 when 9/11 happened and also happened to be going to school in Lower Manhattan. She was no where near the Twin Towers but it was still scary like for so many others. When Kayla found out her father had went to Al Queda and that he had helped in planning these attacks her hate towards him and so many others just became more pronounced.
She is now 29, living a happy life as a Police Officer. When many hear her story they sit and wonder weather she should be trusted and she has no problem with it as so many have deiced to trust her when she mentions she has had no part in any of that. She is still practices both religions she was taught but has been questioning her faith in the Christian faith. She isn't afraid to tell people her story and she isn't afraid to fight for what she believes in. She stands up for herself.
