history
It's hard to say how he got here, a lot of the old folks in Graham knew his mother when she was knee high to a grasshopper. Ryanne had always been and probably always will be a hellraiser with a mind of her own. She ran away at fifteen and came back at 20 with a gang of four men on Harley-Davidsons. Caleb Kelly and some of his friends that had served with him during Vietnam had followed along feeling that there wasn't really a place that they fit in. The Reaper Motorcycle Club had started off as a haven for America's most unwanted--the original four founding members had all fought in the same platoon in the humid jungles and while not all of them survived they walked out of that jungle, off that plane with a new ideas about life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Caleb had always loved motorcycles and the rest of the gang followed suit, his father had always been one of those people. A silver-tongued sweet-talker. Ryanne had fallen head over heels for him in the span of three weeks and before you know it they're hitched and heading back to Graham--the one place Ryanne said would feel like home to them.
The five men plus Ryanne and a six years later Zeke made seven, they had all pooled their money together and had opened Reaper Custom Cycle & Repair. By the time Ezekiel was six the business had picked up and orders out of state were pouring in. The Club was gaining in popularity now and members found their way of trickling in. Tongues set to wagging about the character of some of these viewed miscreants that Ryanne would take in like stray dogs but the talk died if ever she walked by. Some of the newer members had begun talk of other ways to make money, more illegal means of screwing the man. They put in contacts with the Irish and Russians and the two decided to give the Reaper Crew a test run and were not disappointed. Business was booming for the Kelly family and the Club had grown into chapters spread all over the United States, having come together under the ideology of self-government and love of the ride.
This Utopian way of life would not continue for the allies of the Reaper s had called in a favor against a rival gang. That is when the violence really began, Zeke grew up raised as a soldier for the Club...taught by the Founding Four how to fight and how to run the business. Groomed from the beginning to be Caleb's successor Zeke did unimaginably well, caught up in the flash and drama that preceded the life of an outlaw. What can I say? He was a young kid. The other kids at school treated him differently, the adults of Graham and their talk had not escaped the little ears. Zeke was suspended multiple times for fighting and it didn't help that his mother would show up to his school in tight jeans a cleavage-showing shirt but he had always figured his family was different from the others.
When he graduated high school he had already been arrested twice and decided to join the Marines. Once he'd served his tour he went to college for mechanics and motorcycle and under the tutelage of his father and 'uncles' he improved on his craft, graduating from college was not a big deal, he already knew he'd be in the shop working for his father.
The more he got involved with the life of the Reapers the harder his became--he had come to witness murders, gang violence, and a multitude of other things but what really changed his outlook on the club, what really made up his mind to try and enact change was the death of his ex-girlfriend. He'll never be completely sure who did her in but sometimes his heart twinges with suspicion in regards to his mother and father. He'd been more vocal recently in questioning his father's decisions regarding the direction of the Club and has started noticing a divide between the members. His mother privately fears a small war might take place and is doing her best to mend her breaking family.
Caleb called for Ezekiel's exile much to Ryanne's trepidition. She very much prefers to keep all of her children very close to her so that she might better watch them. Some call her over-protective, Zeke calls her psychotic in the lengths she will go to assert control over others. In truth, he is the only one of Ryanne's children that has ever stood up to her or Caleb which gives her cause for great worry. On the other half of it Caleb, Zeke's father, does not appreciate what Zeke had to say to the Club, if one man questions the authority soon others will. It is a fact that Caleb is not as young and virile as he used to be but he clings more fiercely to his spot as President than he ever had before. It is the power that he wants and he is not willing to relinquish it or change his rule whilst he is still living. Because he saw his eldest son as a viable threat to his reign over the Reapers he was 'dishonored' by having all of his patches removed and essentially disowned. Ryanne and Zeke's siblings were not even allowed to look directly at him or speak to him when he was escorted over the state line.
He came up to Anacortes to bunk down with an old friend of his and has been living here for little over six months.
anything else you want us to know he's awesome!
