so i'll try to make this as short as possible. basically, kieran's family (wife/kids) are coming to anacortes to be with him during the summer. he works so much during the year anyway that they all figured it'd be a great time to take a little bit of a "family vacation" on the federal governments bill. what kieran isn't expecting is for his wife's younger sister to join them. kieran has never been very close to kate. he's polite with her and even a little brotherly over the years. so to say the least, he isn't very happy with his wife for springing her on him. kate has just recently been dumped by her fiance and well, she's never had a stable job despite going to college. when kate and anna are extremely close, so anna doesn't even realize anything when her baby sister begins to try and nab her man in her own home. it starts with harmless and seemingly playful flirting that both luffs dismiss, but things escalate when anna isn't looking. kieran has no desire to be with his sister-in-law, but later begins to find it hard not to give into her sexual advances because, well, he's a man; she's a woman; and she has some great timing. however, he won't ever cheat on his wife. for the better part of the plot, kieran will get increasingly more annoyed (and later disrespectful) with kate which will cause some problems with his wife (she's protective of her). eventually he will tell his wife what has been happening. shocked and probably confused, she will tell kieran to leave the house for a little, but he's gonna refuse to go and kick kate out. furious, his wife will go off and leave the two alone. while packing, kate gives it one more go, only to have her big sister walk in on it all and catch them. she could either think it's mutual or she could see kieran telling her no. it's something we can all figure out later.

kieran's wife should be between 33-35. her pb MUST be anna paquin. her history can be whatever you want. her general personality is fun-loving, feisty, understanding, maternal, and strong-willed. her profession is optional, but i suggest something like a teacher or any other job that would be flexible to wear she could move away for a summer. her greatest joys in life are being a wife and mother. she and kieran have an extremely deep and loving relationship. there's nothing they hide from each other (but the occasional surprise birthday party, etc.). it might seem like they don't make a good fit at first, but they do. these two also argue a good amount. half the time it's nothing but harmless debate and banter, but it can be serious other times. she knows him very well. she also acts like a mother to her little sister kate and is protective of her. this will be kieran's sister-in-law and his wife's baby sister. her pb MUST be kate bosworth and she should be between 27-30. her history is up to you, but must match up with anna's (and vice versa). her general personality should be outgoing, selfish, childlike (in a good way), manipulative, and broken, but a good heart. her profession is perpetually undecided. she went to college (your choice what for), but had all kinds of jobs here and there, but never anything stable. she is extremely close to her sister, but harbors a slight jealously for what she has. which of course, just gets blown out of porportion when she moves in with them for the summer. basically, after realizing her life and relationship isn't what she wanted to be, and seeing how happy her sister is, she sort of goes a bit rotten. she has a heart and feels bad to a degree, but can't get over her own selfish wants. she sets her sights on kieran because he seems like the kind of guy she needs and she gets it in her head that her sister and him aren't perfect for each other. thus the manipulation begins. also, i would like to mention she should have a different last name than luff. that is kieran's last name which anna took.
