Parris Tenny (32 | pb; ryan gosling) and William Worthe (32 | pb; ryan phillippe) are the best of friends and have been since they were young boys living in a lovely, high society neighbourhood in London. “Parry” and “Will”, both born only children, were fortunate enough to have families that lived close, allowing them to grow up and to grow close to be practically like brothers to each other. The two were always alike in many ways. They shared a mutual understanding of the other and fostered each other’s love for art. It was this passion for drawing that led them to enrolling in Oxford University to study Architecture. But William changed his mind. He, instead, decided to study world history, world literature and beginner to intermediate French, Portuguese and Latin. Though pursuing thicker paths, meeting their own friends and having their own experiences, they were still very much as close as brothers and nothing would change that, not for the worst at least. The two became fast friends with one of Parry’s acquaintances from his Architecture classes. His name was Caden Britton (34 | pb; ryan reynolds).

"Cade” was and still is nothing like the other two. Sure he came from a wealthy background as well, but he is more unhindered compared to the other’s more reserved upbringing. Definitely more wild and adventurous and he made it his place to introduce his two new besties into his life of different women every night, parties every weekend and whatever fell into the territory. ‘Course, Will hardly budged when introduced to this lifestyle and perhaps, he became more rigid because of it. Parry, on the other hand, embraced it to some extent. The different between Parry and Cade being that Parry knew when to say no. Cade never wants to say no. And why should he? Closer and closer these three grew. Soon, graduation came and they were faced with a job hunt. Luck happened. Cade got news of this new architecture firm and suggested a move to Washington. The idea was to use their gifted talents to make this new firm the talk of social circles. Plus, there was the opportunity of travel for foreign assignments provided they make it passed their internship.

Surprisingly, Will was all for it and he never said why, but Parry was a tad on the sceptical side…but in the end, he caved. The three packed him and left jolly ol’ England and bid welcome to their new lives in Anacortes, Washington. Honestly…the best move they could have made. Parry and Cade quickly started on their internship at the modern-meets-traditional firm and Will found himself a job teaching at the local high school while the three shared an apartment. Was not long till Parry and Cade started having women over and oddly enough, they never saw one of Will’s women even though Will always spoke of having one. Cade would usually get all cocky and start teasing Will about his non-existent women. This would lead to fights and Parry would find himself beating the two off each other. Secret - - Will is gay. Has been attracted to guys for as long as he could remember; and for a while, the object of his affection has been his best friend, Parry, who has no idea.

Parry and Cade did make it through their internship and landed jobs as designers for the firm, but they almost never made it and it was because of a hard-ass named Charlotte Maddox (33 | pb; olivia wilde), let’s call her “Charlie”. Charlie was the one personally in charge of Parry and Cade’s internship. Before their internship, Charlie was working to help make the firm more known and successful and she did a pretty hot job for the firm over the last five years. Yeah, she’s a prodigy with wicked art skills. But…she has a short fuse and Parry would be happy to claim responsibility for throwing gasoline into her inferno several, sever times before. It’s obvious why, and Cade is always happy to spell it out – he likes her. She is down to earth, honest, comes from a modest background and she is talent. Parry is mad for Charlie, has been since the first day he saw her. Thing is…he can’t have her. Not in this life at least, and probably not in the next one either. Bummer, right? There is something keeping them from being more than easy targets for each other on a daily basis…and that something is a right pain the arse.

Cade never says no…he just never, ever knows when to say no…so, it is probably safe to assume he has slept with every attractive woman between eighteen and forty in Anacortes – yeah, he’s got a banger for cougars. But there was this one woman he kept going back to. Her name was Skylar Darcy (29 | pb; susan coffey), but we’ll address her as Sky. Sure, she said there was nothing emotional about it, sure she was in a supposedly committed relationship with a good man and sure he said that he had no intention of getting attached to her… Funny thing about lover, never know when it is gonna it. She got scared…and she ran back to her husband with her panties at her ankles leaving Cade with his head fallen and tail between his legs. He liked her, and he sulked for a bit… Thing is, Sky did not leave empty handed. She’s pregnant, the baby is Cade’s and Cade is going to get a phone call pretty soon I bet.

And we turn back to Will. Yes, Will is gay, he has a thing for his best friend but he is much too terrified of what could happen if he ever said anything…so he bottled it and has kept it bottled all this time…until he met Benedict Grey (35 | pb; matt bomer). We’ll call him “Ben”. It was at a seminar in Seattle, that’s where these two met. What the seminar was about does not matter, what does is that the two had an instant attraction to each other but Will wanted to ignore. Ben, on the other hand, wanted to be direct. Introductions were made, conversation was shared, awkwardness was felt and then Mr. Ben Grey simply pointed out that he was attracted to Will. They parted ways after the seminar, that was supposed to be the end of it and Will went back to lusting after his best friend…until he saw Ben in the teacher’s lounge the following Monday. Good news! He’s the new teacher the Principal had informed them about…hmmm, or is this bad news?

Remember I told you about that huge pain in the ass getting in between Parry and Charlie, well, the prick has a name – Nicholas Boeden (37 | ian somerhalder). Fittingly, we will call him “Nick”. Nick works at the same firm as Parry, Cade and his woman, Charlie. He comes from wealthy, he has always gotten everything he has ever wanted and he tends to wear an expensive suit whenever and wherever he is seen. And he has a superiority complex. Comes with being one of the top designers for the firm and the youngest among the Senior Architects. Though he may not have as many years experiences, he has undeniable talent which kinda pisses everyone off. But everyone knows that Parry is a better designer, which ticks Nick off…and everyone knows that Parry could easily get the girl in the end and that just sends Nick off the deep end. He is planning to propose to Charlie soon. He gets what he wants…always.
